RE college alumni return to campus to advise and reconnect

RE collegiate alumni returned to the upper school on January 8 for an afternoon of reuniting and reconnecting. Between a lively luncheon and an informative panel for the junior class, it was a day defined by joy and support. Teachers enjoyed seeing their former students again, and young alumni Ryan Bienstock ’24 (Washington University in St. Louis), Kate Demos-Brown ’23 (Dartmouth), Tyira Jackson ’24 (Spelman), Francisco Gomez Rivas-Vazquez ’24 (MIT), Alan Motoki ’24 (Rice) and Teymoor Siahpoosh ’24 (Ohio State) shared advice on the college process.
The alumni panel, made up of alumni currently attending a range of universities, offered guidance on researching colleges, making the most of campus visits, managing senior-year priorities and easing the stress that often accompanies the application journey. The conversation was led by Senior Associate Director of College Counseling, China Hutchins. The panel marked the official launch of the college process for RE juniors.

Following the panel, panelists and other collegiate alumni gathered on the Touzet Patio at La Brisa for lunch, where they connected with RE juniors and seniors and caught up with RE faculty members.

Upcoming Alumni Events
On the horizon, RE alumni are invited to attend Alumni Weekend, April 24-26, 2026, and REEF (RE Epic Fishing Tournament), May 9, 2026. Learn more about upcoming alumni events here.
