RE scores third in regional science bowl

A team of student-scientists – Simone Carrasco ‘27, Max Grunwald ‘26, Nelson Manstein ‘26, Michael Sharp ‘27 and Alex Tevelow ‘28 – claimed third place in the South Florida High School Regional Science Bowl on February 21 at the University of Miami. The event, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy,  is a fast-paced, buzzer-style competition focused on STEM subjects that included 33 teams from around South Florida. RE faculty member Yuria Sharp mentored the three RE entries.
