Students and alumni participate in food-and-supplies community distribution
Ransom Everglades alumni and members of the student-run Volunteer Service Council helped support some 300 local families that visited a food-and-supplies distribution at the Northside Shopping Center in Miami on September 6. RE upper school students donated hundreds of hygiene items and members of the Volunteer Service Council under president Angelina Febres '26 packed 150 bags for the community event. RE alumni joined students and professional community members on site, sharing the goods – and plenty of goodwill – with those in attendance as they lived out the RE core value of Service & Outreach.
The distribution was organized by the Joshua's Heart Foundation – an organization founded by Joshua Williams '18. Students collected goods by advisory: shampoo, deodorant, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, body wash, toothpaste, detergent and tooth brushes.
