Lily Knoll '29, Liv Brantley '29 and Porter Sanderson '29 received "Star Awards" from the Independent Schools of South Florida (ISSF) in recognition of their effort, dedication and good character as well as their excellence in academics, community service, citizenship, fine arts or sports. Assistant Head of the Middle School Jess Merrick and Dean of the Eighth Grade Shaida Escoffery Whitley accompanied the students to the April 9 luncheon that drew some 800 guests.
The students, who received gold medals, were nominated by faculty at RE for the awards, which are designed to honor the "best all-around" students at ISSF member schools.
