Raiders earn tenth win of season

Junior Jacob Rubinstein '26 led the way with a dominant performance on the mound in a 13-1 victory over Somerset Academy Silver Palms. The righty surrendered five hits and one run over five innings, striking out six. Junior Juan Velazco '26 opened the scoring for the Raiders with a solo shot to left field to start a five run fourth inning which included a pair of RBI's by junior Enrique Macias '27 and senior Justin Kaplan '25. The Raiders would roll from there accumulating 13 hits in the game. Senior Mason Lastra '25 continued his impressive senior season with two hits and two stolen bases. The victory moves the team to 10-4 on the year. The Raiders will have a quick turnaround as they host Rivera Prep this evening for senior night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
