Boys go 4-0 in Wildcat Invitational

The boys water polo team completed a strong tournament weekend with four victories in four games over strong competition from across the state. The Raiders were led by junior Jack Merrick '26 who opened the tournament with eight goals against Lake Brantley in a 19-7 victory. Junior Oliver Friedland '26 also had a strong opening game with four goals and five assists.  Day two of the Wildcat Invite saw the Raider defense step up in a dominant 16-4 victory over Olympia High School. Junior Jack Merrick '26 continued his strong tournament with a second eight goal performance. In game three, against a strong Seminole High School team the Raiders earned a hard fought 12-9 victory led by junior Oliver Friedland's four goal, three assist performance. Sophomore Ashton Gould '27 and junior Lincoln Broad '26 added two goals a piece in the victory. In the final game of the weekend against Winter Park High School the Raiders had a balanced attack led by Gould, Merrick, Friedland and Broad.  Sophomore goalkeeper Leo Church-Schulman '27 was stellar in net with eight saves included a blocked penalty shot.
