RE alumni share advice on college interviews with RE students
Four RE alumni – Terron Ferguson '04, Oliver Moore '02, Alex Moskovitz '93 and Annie Stamps '03 – addressed RE students and fielded their questions during a College Interview Workshop held by the college counseling office on Oct. 1. The alumni brought their experience from a range of top undergraduate institutions; Ferguson attended Morehouse College; Moore is a U.S. Military Academy grad; Moskovitz attended MIT; and Stamps, the University of Pennsylvania. College Counselor China Hutchins moderated the alumni panel in the Posner Lecture Hall, and also shared guidance on preparing for college interviews.
RE's college counseling office also launched the college process with ninth- and tenth-grade parents and students in late September. They met with more than 100 sophomore parents in the Lewis Family Auditorium on Sept. 22 and several dozen ninth-grade parents on Sept. 29, providing both groups with guidance and a parent checklist, and also addressing key issues related to student development. Counselors later met with both grades, offering instruction and taking questions.
