Thespians excel at Florida Senior Thespian State Festival

Seven Ransom Everglades drama students excelled at the 2025 Florida Senior Thespian State Festival March 19-22 in Tampa, winning Excellent or Superior ratings for their performances. Morgan Williams '26 led RE's participants by claiming a Superior in solo musical theater as Lilah Murphy ‘27, Austin Sayfie Aagaard '26 and Flavia Contreras '28 garnered Excellent ratings. Isabella Ranawat '26 earned Excellent ratings in both solo musical theater and monologue. The students, who traveled under RE performing arts teacher Laura Montes, also had the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops and master classes led by theatre professionals from around the country.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
