    Class of 2025 Bowden fellows share their research during an upper school assembly

    The Class of 2025 Dan Leslie Bowden Fellows in the Humanities – Adrian Jagodzinski '25, Jordan James '25, Kenzie Kaplan '25, Beatriz Lindemann '25, Lucas Lippey '25, Ethan Sullivan '25 and Sindhu Talluri '25 – shared details of their summer projects with their upper school peers during assembly on October 8. Associate Head of School John A. King Jr., who directs the Bowden fellowship program, acknowledged the students' hard work and excellent projects. Named for the legendary educator Dan Leslie Bowden, the fellowships provide students with funding and support for humanities research around the globe.

    Ten RE students selected for district honor bands

    Ten Ransom Everglades band students were selected for the Florida Bandmasters Association District Middle School and High School Honor Bands, earning the opportunity to perform in ensembles with outstanding band students from other local schools. Each ensemble performed after just nine hours of rehearsal at the Oct. 5-6 Honor Band Concert at Gulliver Middle School with the support of RE Upper School Band Director Jon Hamm and Middle School Band Director Cathi Leibinger.

    Three inducted into the Ransom Everglades Athletic Hall of Fame

    On the eve of Homecoming 2024, Ransom Everglades welcomed three extraordinary athletes – Fritz Alders '74 (soccer), Bill Holly '86 (football) and Debbie Ajagbe '17 (track and field) – into the RE Athletic Hall of Fame with warm tributes and a spirited celebration at the Pagoda. All were introduced by current hall of famers: Alders by soccer coach Jim Beverley '62. Holly by former football star Matt Rose '86; and Ajagbe by track and field coach Mike Becker, inducted to the hall of fame last year. Photo Gallery Video

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
